ACS Hillingdon receives an 'Excellent" rating for educational standards
On March 10th ACS Hillingdon received the awaited report on a recent inspection from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), the UK body that inspects over 1200 Independent schools in England.
The key outcomes of the report were excellence scores in the quality of pupils’ academic and other achievements and in the quality of the pupils’ personal development. The Inspectorate concluded that the school meets the standards in the schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014, and relevant requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, and associated requirements.
Just some of the other highlights in the report include :
• The school's curricular and extra-curricular provision is excellent and contributes significantly to the quality of learning and achievement in accordance with the aims of the school to educate the whole child
• The significant amount of excellent and good teaching demonstrates pace, variety and energy
• The quality of the pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent and a strength of the school
• The school is successful in meeting its aims of fostering a sense of belonging and community, and arrangements for welfare, health and safety are excellent
•The quality of links with parents, carers and guardians is outstanding and in accordance with the school's aim to build and maintain constructive relationships

Inspections are a little like London buses , you wait for one then they come together. ACS Hillingdon also recently received an accreditation visit from NEASC the New England Association of Schools and Colleges which credits and supports over 1200 public, independent and international schools in the USA and worldwide.
