Applications for admission to ACS Doha for the 2016/17 academic year are now open until January 31st, 2016 for PK3, PK 4 and Kindergarten. Grades 1-12 will be open from January 19, 2016.

Things for parents to consider when making an application
Is the admissions process important? The short answer is – yes! Our Dean of Admissions, Sowmiya Kasthuri, has put together some useful tips to make the admissions application process seamless.
1. It is important for families who have not yet moved to Qatar to understand that although admissions are now closed for Qatar based families, families located outside Qatar can still submit their applications online, until the end of January 2016 for the 2016/17 academic year. Please contact us directly in this instance.
2. Parents must keep an eye out for the admissions dates. ACS Doha recommends keeping in touch with the school’s admissions team on a regular basis to make sure that the key enrolment period is not missed. This will also help keep you up to date with any changes to the dates or processes.
3. All children in Qatar now attending school must have their Residency Permit (RP) prior to starting school. Even if your child has applied and has been accepted, the Supreme Education Council regulations dictate that every child must hold a valid RP in order to be allowed to attend school.
4. Most international schools in Qatar have student admissions assessments; these assessments are very important. They are particularly significant for high school students. Assessments are held throughout the year on predetermined dates – the admissions representative can share these dates with you. Any student that is not able to attend their assessment should speak with admissions to make alternative arrangements as missing these assessments could jeopardise your child’s opportunity to be accepted to the school.
