By Sowmiya Kasthuri I am delighted to have joined ACS Doha as the Dean of Admissions this year. I have had an overwhelmingly positive response from students, staff, parents and faculty thus far and I look forward to strengthening this working relationship over the coming months!
I lead a team of admissions staff, and together we are happy to to assist you with any enquiry related to admissions. This includes providing information and advice on applications and availability of space in each grade, as well as details on our education programmes.

We are also familiar with relevant policies of the Supreme Education Council and the Higher Education Institute of Qatar, and can provide you or relocating employees and their families with guidance on the correct procedures to follow when making an application to ACS Doha.
Prior to joining ACS Doha, I was the Head of Admissions and Enrolment and served as the senior Academic Advisor at the Qatar Aeronautical College. Over the course of my career in the Middle East I have had the opportunity to effectively blend my local knowledge with international standards. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Commerce and Social Science, a Master’s in Business Studies and a Master’s in Education specialising in Enrolment Management.
This background, along with my hands-on experience, has placed me in an optimum position to guide parents and students through crucial decisions related to education.
We understand that in order for you to advise colleagues or employees on schools in Doha, it helps if you have first hand knowledge of them. With this in mind, I would be delighted to welcome you to our school for a personal tour, and a talk over coffee. I can show you what sets our school apart and explain how our education programmes meet the needs of international students relocating to Qatar.
