By Caroline Breeds, ACS Corporate Relations Manager Over the past week I have been fortunate enough to watch ‘A Christmas Carol’ performed by staff and students at our Cobham campus, and attend our Christmas Relocation Networking event at ACS Egham, two great ways to help to get into the Christmas spirit!

Last week's Christmas networking event for relocation professionals was a great success, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. ACS Egham students in grade 4 and 5 put us in the Christmas spirit by singing some wonderful songs of the season, this put a smile on everyone’s face:
The grade 4 and 5 choir will be performing at the Royal Albert Hall next week at the ‘Voice in a Million’. Good luck and enjoy the performance!
We were also treated to rendition’s from Ileeana Johnson and Nick Wong they each played a piece by Bach and Debussy, a visual arts demonstration from grade 12 students as well as two outstanding performing art snippets from ‘Refugee’ and ‘Fairy Court’, it was quite frankly a spellbinding morning!
This year the FEM Summit spanned across two days at the Intercontinental at the 02. This was a great opportunity to meet with many of you to discuss the latest trends in global mobility. 2016 has been full of surprises given the result of the referendum earlier this year followed by the election of Donald Trump. This undoubtedly has resulted in a lot of discussion and currently, a wait and see approach is being adopted by many.
Extremely positive news is coming from the Technical sector, Google and Facebook have both announced that they will be expanding their head quarters in London. This is a strong vote of confidence for London and the UK. I look forward to seeing the developments next year.
Finally, the Deans and my marketing colleagues had a great time at the ARP lunch at The Savile Club on Friday (pictured) - wonderful venue, delicious food, and excellent company.
Andrew Kittell, Director Corporate Relations will be visiting London at the end of January, we look forward to meeting with many of you during Andrew’s visit.
The students will shortly break for the Christmas holiday period. As always I would encourage those of you that have not had the opportunity to visit one of our campus locations recently to arrange a visit for 2017; I look forward to hearing from you cbreeds@acs-schools.com
May the magic of Christmas gladden your heart with the joys of the season. Wishing you and your family good health, happiness and prosperity in the coming year ahead!
