By Andrew J Kittell, Director of Corporate Relations, ACS North American Office With the winter break just ahead, the ACS International Schools community is collectively looking forward to a well-deserved rest. The same is true of the ACS North American Office team, but activity in all of our locations will ramp up again quickly in the New Year as the 2017-2018 enrollment cycle begins in earnest. For now, we’ll take a quick look back and then one ahead, sharing where you will soon find ACS representatives on the road here.

As a member of the Worldwide ERC’s prestigious 2016 Global Workforce Symposium (GWS)-planning Task Force, ACS Managing Director Chris Johnson helped develop the conference’s two day educational program. The world’s single-largest gathering of international relocation professionals, October’s GWS attracted a record 1,800 attendees from 55 countries.
During the GWS, ACS organized and delivered an expert panel presentation exploring data derived from a recent survey of our Class of 2017. The survey delved into the next generation’s experience with and views on cross-border assignments. Our panel of experts included a member of the ACS Cobham Class of 2013 now studying at Georgetown University and mobility leaders from AIRINC, News Corp, and EY.
A near-capacity audience of 80 GWS delegates joined this ACS-developed and Chris Johnson-led presentation, later giving it a superior rating for both style and substance.
This winter ACS will sponsor, exhibit, and present at leading mobility-linked events across North America. Please look for our representatives during the following February-March events:
